SRAS will be at:
The ASEEES Conference in San Francisco in November 2019
The AATSEEL Conference in San Diego in February 2020
Each year we look forward to getting together with old friends and making new connections in the field. Let us know if you will be at either conference! The following are a few items you may be interested in discussing:
- SRAS offers research support services in Russia, both on site and remotely. Contact us for visa assistance, for instance, for your next trip abroad – or come by our booth at either conference to learn more about our range of services!
- We offer extensive support for custom (faculty-led) programs (we can help you turn your dream program into a reality)
- We offer Continuing Education programs for educators and other professionals!
- We are also continuing our mission to develop exciting and academically rigorous study abroad programs in Central Asia and Central/Eastern Europe.
When developing our study abroad programs we have given considerable thought to making the most of each location‘s geographic position and individual history as well as its local business, cultural, and political environment. This includes, but is not limited to, Central Asian studies in Bishkek, environmental studies in Irkutsk, policy and conflict in Kyiv and the FSU, Jewish studies and security studies, including cybersecurity, in Warsaw, etc. These programs are aimed primarily at undergraduate students and will have wide appeal to students outside of traditional Russian/language studies. Each summer we have a number of graduate-level students studying with us in Russia using FLAS funding. We have also developed a number of research internship opportunities for students, in all of our locations.
