Over this past year, SRAS has developed a growing number of online courses, classroom support options, and free events — all intended to supplement learning about our region. We continue to roll out new courses and we are very excited about our “Perspectives” series. As you all know, study abroad is very much about gaining new perspectives. This comes in many forms, including understanding differing traditions, identities, political systems, geographies, and histories.
We have launched four new “Perspectives” courses for Spring 2021. These are open to students, educators, and life-long learners alike, but we would like to extend a special invitation to study abroad professionals and faculty advisors to join these courses as part of an SRAS Virtual Site Visit. This is a unique opportunity to get to know SRAS, our partner institutions, and host cities — and learn the history, culture, and current events in a part of the world you may not yet have had the opportunity to explore. If you are a current study abroad professional or faculty member advising students and/or your study abroad office on study abroad opportunities in a US institution, there is no cost to join this Virtual Site Visit and the included Perspectives course.
