University Relations
We look forward to building a relationship with you that will help your students access the value of global education. If you have any questions about our programs, services, or resources, please contact us.
We realize that every institution is unique and we are proud of our ability to flexibly meet the needs of a wide range of partners and affiliates.
Students from more than 200 colleges/universities have already attended our programs and we look forward to welcoming yours.
Affiliation/Partnership
Affiliating with SRAS means giving your students a more diverse set of study abroad options. We are a flexible third-party provider with extensive, 24-hour in-country support and over 20 years of on-the-ground experience. We concentrate our efforts on locations in Eurasia where we offer a range of rigorous, academically-challenging programs applicable to a wide range of majors. Most of our programs are available in English, but offer rich opportunities to build foreign language skills.
SRAS affiliation saves your institution time and money by partnering with dedicated experts. In addition, students from affiliate institutions are given top priority for admission to programs with limited space, for internship placement, and for SRAS Program Grants.
Affiliation or partnership with SRAS does not limit, in any way, your ability to work with other third party providers or to develop your own programs.
Below you will find more information. We realize that every institution has unique set of needs, and SRAS welcomes the chance to discuss with you how we might be able to work with you. Contact us to begin the discussion!
Your institution may choose one, multiple, or all of our base programs and promote them as your own. Some customization is possible. With this option, institutional pricing is established specific to your program parameters and level of customization to give your students the best possible value while meeting your institutional needs.

SRAS can help you design effective, affordable faculty-led custom programs that meet your institution’s specific needs and deliver an enriching on-site experience for your students. See our Custom Programs page for more information.
SRAS has more than a decade of experience in creatively building cost-effective custom solutions for our partners in a broad range of fields, from language and history to math and science. In addition, we have been supporting students abroad on our programs for more than twenty years.
We would love to help you offer your students more programming abroad in diverse, horizon-expanding locations. SRAS can assist in everything from designing application requirements, choosing a location, building an effective curriculum with a partner institution abroad, and making sure that your students are supported with visa assistance, medical and travel insurance, onsite housing, orientation, and other logistics. We can support supervised internships and provide the hands-on cultural programming and excursions to make your program stand out and give your students a truly immersive educational experience abroad.
We can also help redesign existing programs or take on selected program support functions as an knowledgable and affordable third party provider.

Site Visits for Study Abroad Professionals
SRAS is an active team. We love to travel, meet new people, and connect with long-standing friends. No matter where we are in our relationship with you, we’d love to meet up. We can welcome you on site visits to our locations abroad. We can also come to your campus to present live on our locations and programs – or meet you at a conference.
- Site Visits – We would love to welcome you abroad to meet our local staff, join classes, tour the campus and host city, participate in some of our organized excursions and activities, and gain insight into the student experience with SRAS.
- Campus Visits – We can come to your campus to take part in study abroad fairs and to present on our programs, locations, and organization. We’ll be glad to run an info session, visit your classroom, and/or meet with your administration – either in person or virtually. Contact us to arrange a time!
- Conferences – SRAS and its team are actively involved with organizations dedicated to study abroad and specifically to the study of Eurasia. We regularly attend:
"Just yesterday my student successfully defended her honors thesis on environmentalism around Lake Baikal, a project that would not have been possible without the fieldwork that she conducted on her SRAS study abroad program in Irkutsk. I hope to see more such projects in the future and will keep directing students to SRAS programs!"
- Julia Chadaga, Macalester College
"At Stetson, we've used SRAS to arrange all of our student study abroad trips for the past five or six years. During that time we've sent dozens of students on summer- and semester-long programs in Moscow, St Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Irkutsk. In every interaction I've had with them, SRAS has been prompt, reliable, knowledgable, courteous and quick to lend a hand when needed."
- Dr. Michael A. Denner, Stetson University
